Support Services & Whānau Awhi

Practical awhi for families navigating illness, systems, and grief

Support from Silent Hum focuses on what actually helps in real homes, hospital rooms, and community settings: clear information, practical steps, and strong attention to siblings and wider whānau. Families can access guides on navigating hospital life, funding, and Work & Income, as well as curated links to trusted advocacy, disability, and legal support organisations across Aotearoa.

Rather than replacing existing services, Silent Hum steadies whānau to use what already exists by offering plain-language explanations, checklists, and conversation prompts you can take into appointments, school meetings, or care planning hui. The kaupapa is awhi, safety, and mana-enhancing support during illness, treatment, recovery, or grief.
